Proctored Exam Request

Even classes that are listed as fully online may require 1-2 proctored exams.

A proctored exam is an exam that must be taken in-person at an approved KCTCS testing site.

If you’re a Jefferson student, this can be done at any of our six campuses.
If you’re not a Jefferson student, the exam can be taken at your local KCTCS college.

In any case, an appointment must be made at least two business days in advance.

All non-Jefferson students can find their local proctoring sites at the KCTCS list of proctoring sites.
Students with disabilities:

Online students with documented disabilities requiring individualized accommodations for proctored exams should contact the Disability Resource Coordinator at their Home College prior to making an appointment for a proctored exam.

Please note that later times may be restricted to specific campuses and/or days of the week. After selecting your preference, your proctor can better inform you of your options. Each appointment is scheduled for a two hour block.

Bullitt: Open Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 7:00pm
Southwest: Open 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Downtown: Open Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 2:30pm
Technical: Closed 12:00pm – 1:00pm.
Shelbyville: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
