Jefferson's 2015 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Hall 2D of the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville.  Graduates should be at the convention center no later than 5:30 p.m.

2015 Graduation Information:

The last day to submit a graduation application for the spring 2015 term is March 6, 2015. Spring graduates will not be officially awarded until the end of the full spring semester – end of May. This means spring credentials will not be mailed out until mid-June.

Graduation Information:

If you are planning to graduate with multiple credentials you must apply for each credential separately.  Any applications received after the deadline will be held for future semester graduation processes.

Please read each section on the website carefully so that you apply for your credential correctly.

If you are unsure what degree/certificate/diploma you are applying for you should contact your advisor or the Advising Center on your campus.

Ceremony Information:

Jefferson holds one graduation ceremony for an academic year.  The ceremony takes between 90 minutes and two hours, depending on the number of graduates.  Students are strongly encouraged to participate in graduation. The ceremony is a celebration of your hard work and success.  However, you are not required to participate.

Credentials are not given during the ceremony; they are mailed to graduates afterward to the address used on their graduation application.  If you move you are responsible for contacting the Registrar’s Office to update your graduation address.

You may purchase your cap and gown from any of the colleges bookstores up until the day of graduation.  Please contact the College’s Bookstore for more information.
