| According to Community College Rule 2.64 Schools of
Radiography:
Graduates from Schools of Radiography
who hold American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registration
and hold a current state license may be awarded thirty-five (35) credit
hours for Radiography coursework. This credit would be applicable
to the requirements for the Associate in Applied Science Degree program.
Note: The remaining program prerequisites and general education requirements
must be completed before the degree is granted (Post
registry

The 35 credit hours will be awarded to the above
graduates as follows:

For the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and
Associate in Applied Science degrees, regardless of the time the student
has attended the community college, a minimum of twenty-four (24)
credits must be completed within the KCTCS Community Colleges and
at least 25 percent of the approved curriculum credits must be completed
at the community college granting the degree. For example, transferring
students seeking an AAS Degree in Radiography must successfully
complete 24 credit hours within the KCTCS system (minimum grade "C").
Eighteen (18) of the 24 credit hours must be completed at JCTC. |
