Radiography Program
What is a Radiographer?
A radiographer (x-ray technologist) is a health professional who uses radiation and other forms of energy to produce medical images of the internal human anatomy. In some cases, the radiographer performs medical procedures that evaluate physiological function. Medical radiographs and other medical imaging procedures are used by the physician to diagnose and treat human disease. Radiographers are typically employed in hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices and corporate sales.
