Healthcare Career Pathways

HealthCareer Pathways

HealthCareer Pathways is a new program at Jefferson designed to assist individuals interested in entering the Nursing or Allied Health programs at the college.

This program is for students who are thinking about a career in healthcare; those who are worried about how to pay for school; and those who just want some help with the whole college process.

HealthCareer Pathways provides:

  • Free career assessment and counseling
  • Career information and career exploration activities
  • Direction in identifying and applying for financial aid
  • Help in obtaining co-ops, internships and employment
  • A link between students and healthcare professionals

The program can help those interested in all of Jefferson’s healthcare majors:

Medicaid Nursing Aid (MNA)
Medial Assisting
Medical Billing
Practical Nursing
Registered Nursing
Radiography
Surgical Technology
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Physical Therapist Assistant
Nuclear Medicine
Respiratory Therapist
Medication Aid (CMT)

Health Information Technology
