HealthCareer Pathways

HealthCareer Pathways is a new program at Jefferson designed to assist individuals interested in entering the Nursing or Allied Health programs at the college.

This program is for students who are thinking about a career in healthcare; those who are worried about how to pay for school; and those who just want some help with the whole college process.

HealthCareer Pathways provides:

Free career assessment and counseling
Career information and career exploration activities
Direction in identifying and applying for financial aid
Help in obtaining co-ops, internships and employment
A link between students and healthcare professionals

The program can help those interested in all of Jefferson’s healthcare majors:

Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Health Information Technology
Medicaid Nursing Aid (MNA)
Medication Aid (CMT)
Medial Assisting
Medical Billing
Nuclear Medicine
Occupational Therapy Assistant
