In the wake of several deadly acts of violence in schools across the United States, three Jefferson Community and Technical College professors will hold a program titled: "The War at Home – A Discussion of the Rise of Youth Violence in America."

Job Fair set for Shelby County

Jefferson Community & Technical College will hold a Job Fair on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college’s Shelby County Campus in Shelbyville, Ky. The job fair, sponsored by the college's Adult Education program, is free and open to the public.

Jefferson student named to KCTCS Board of Regents

VERSAILLES, Ky. (August 31, 2006) – A Jefferson Community and Technical College student was among eight new members named to the Board of Regents for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Leclara Hamblen, president of JCTC’s Student Government, was appointed to represent general education students. She was selected after an application and interview process conducted among college presidents from all 16 KCTCS institutions.
