Community leaders honored at graduation ceremony

The graduation ceremony for Jefferson Community College and Jefferson Technical College will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 9, in the Cascade Ballroom of the Kentucky International Convention Center. This will be the last year the colleges will be recognized as separate institutions; the colleges fully consolidate on July 1. Nearly 1,200 students will graduate from the colleges this semester.

Jefferson Community College and Jefferson Technical College students were recognized April 19 for various academic achievements. The students were honored in a ceremony at the Southwest Campus, attended by Kentucky Community & Technical College System President Dr. Michael McCall.
