22nd annual career fair set for Jan. 29

Jefferson Community & Technical College will hold its 22nd annual Career/Allied Health Fair from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Jan. 29, 2009, in the VTI Building, 110 W. Chestnut St., on the college’s Downtown Campus at Second and Chestnut streets.

Artist to appear with traveling exhibit, “Americans Who Tell the Truth”

Channeling his “anger and grief” over U.S. response to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States, Maine artist Robert Shetterly began to paint portraits. He sought past and present Americans who spoke the truth as he saw it and combined their images with their words.
