Bullitt County
officials and business leaders as well as the Kentucky Community and Technical
College System are working toward the development of a permanent college campus
in Bullitt County. This is a long-term process that currently is in the early
stages of development. Details will be posted on this page as they become
available.
In the meantime, Jefferson Community and Technical College, a KCTCS institution,
will offer a series of courses at an interim Bullitt County location beginning
with the Fall 2007 semester.
Courses will be offered in two eight-week
sessions. The first will be Aug. 20 – Oct. 16, and the second will be Oct. 17 –
Dec. 15. Students potentially could earn a full semester’s credits by taking
courses in both eight-week sessions.
TRANSFER: All classes taken in Bullitt County will apply to programs at all of Jefferson’s campuses or any KCTCS institution. Classes also will transfer to any public four-year college or university in Kentucky.
TUITION: Tuition is $115 per credit hour. Most classes are 3 credit hours. Jefferson also charges a $30 security fee per semester. Payment plans are available.
FINANCIAL AID: Financial aid is available. Visit
www.Jefferson.KCTCS.edu/financialaid to learn how to apply. You must apply as early as possible before beginning your first semester. Financial aid can take several weeks to process.
