Humanities Division - Downtown Campus

Humanities Division
Purpose Statement:

The purpose of the Humanities Division is to provide students with a broad, liberal arts and applied technology education which encourages effective communication, freedom of expression, cultural awareness and enrichment, creative thinking, professional and intellectual growth, personal assessment, integrated learning, analytical reading, ethics and values, writing and critical thinking.

Humanities Division enables students to earn Associate Degrees in Applied Science or an Associate of Arts degree.
 

The Humanities Division on the downtown campus consist of the following General Education Programs:

English
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Fine Arts
Foreign Languages
Journalism
Literature
Music
Philosophy
Theater Arts
