The Academic Success Learning Center is an academic support facility open to all students on the JCTC downtown campus.  The Center is under the direction of the Coordinator, Dr. Carol Anderson, and a staff of work study students.

The Center is devoted to working individually with students to insure their academic success while attending Jefferson Community & Technical College.  Students can walk in and make a appointment with Coordinator.  Appointments are made when the student can work one-on-one with the Coordinator to brush up on essential study strategies such as Time Management, Note Taking, Memory, Listening, How to Study Better, Critical Thinking, and Test Planning or Test Anxiety.

Workshops are also offered on all the above strategies during each month of the Semester, Fall and Spring.  Workshops are offered to all JCTC Students and are held in the Alternative and Supplementary Center LIB 214.  Workshop times are listed.
