General Mission Statement
To provide academic support programs that encompass a comprehensive learning center specializing in the areas of tutorial assistance, reading and study skill-based assistance, and computer-aided-instruction to college students with the primary purposes of facilitating the teaching/learning process and enabling students to reach their academic potential.

Reading/Academic Success Learning Center Mission
Within the larger context of a comprehensive learning center, the mission of the Reading/Academic Success Center is to provide an student resource program on the campus whose primary goals are to foster retention, assist students, especially at-risk students, in the development of essential skills necessary for their effective performance in college coursework, and facilitate their independent learning and academic success by an emphasis on the learning process, instructional technology, and the students' ability to maximize their academic potential.
