The SW Student Life Committee met on Tuesday, 9/21, at 3:00 pm.  Present were John Limeberry, Pam Butsch, Pat Ecker, Susan Erdmann, Chris Graney, and Bill Hazelrigg.



We started with the presumption that we would have the same allocation of funds as last year, $4,681.  We approved funds requests from the following groups:

                        Drama Club                                                                                           $1,200.

                        Phi Theta Kappa                                                                                        150.

                        Speaker Series                                                                                      2,000.

                        SWAT                                                                                                       950.

                                                                                                                                    ----------

                                                                                                                                    $4,300.



We agreed that the committee again wanted to sponsor the Halloween Costume contest (cost $100), and the Spring Fling (estimated cost $750).



If we fund the requests and sponsor the two events, we will be approximately $500 over budget.  Possibly Katy can divert funds from other sources to make up the shortage?



Our next meeting will be in November (date not determined).
