Basic Computer Skills for eLearning

Before delivering your course online, you should have basic computer skills. These skills will help you gather and/or create your content and prepare it to go online.

 

Basic Computer Skills (You should be able to)

  • Create folders on your computer.
  • Save and find files/folders on your computer.
  • Use e-mail.
  • Attach files.
  • Download files.
  • Find file outside of e-mail program.

 

  • Use a word processing document.
    • Save file in appropriate folder.
    • Find file outside of Word.
    • Edit and save file with another name.

 

  • Cut, Copy and Paste content from one document to another.

 

  • Convert Word, PowerPoint and other documents to HTML
