Advising/Registration

  • Advising at Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) has a mission of serving prospective and current students in need of advisement for academics, career and life.

Assessment/Placement Test

  • Students take the three-part COMPASS assessment to help academic advisors determine skill levels in reading, writing and mathematics.
  • The COMPASS is used to place students into appropriate courses and not to determine whether a student is admitted to the college.
  • The COMPASS is taken after a student is admitted to the college.

Financial Aid

  • Jefferson’s Financial Aid office helps students and families navigate the complexities of student financial assistance.
  • Many types of financial assistance are available to students, but each has rules and regulations surrounding their administration.
  • We hope to help you understand all of this, as well as help you secure funding for your higher education.

Food

  • Beverage machines, Snack food machine, Sandwich machine, Microwave is available.

Learning Labs

  • The Bullitt County Campus has a Writing Lab that is open during specified times two days a week for assistance with English course work. 
  • A Math Lab is available during specified times two days a for assistance with math course work. 
  • Days and hours of availability for both labs depends on the semester.

Library

  • The Bullitt County Campus has a full-service college library with a full-time librarian on staff.
  • Printing is available to all Jefferson students with a valid student id.
  • The library is more than just printed books and computers; it is alive with social and cultural awareness and events. 
  • Stop by your campus library today!  Computers are available for word processing, e-mail, and Internet research.

Parking

  • There are three lots at the Bullitt County Campus location. 
  • Recommendation have a Jefferson parking permit hang tag.
