The Academic Success Learning Center is an academic support facility open to all students on the JCTC downtown campus.
The Center is devoted to working individually with students to ensure their academic success while attending Jefferson Community & Technical College.
Students can walk in or make a appointment with the Coordinator.
Appointments must be made when the student wants to work one-on-one with the Coordinator to brush up on essential study strategies such as Time Management, Note Taking, Memory, Listening, How to Study Better, Critical Thinking, and Test Planning or Test Anxiety.
Workshops are also offered on all the above strategies during each month of the Semester, Fall and Spring.
Workshops are offered to all JCTC Students and are held in the Alternative and Supplementary Center located in the John T. Smith Library.
