Orientation information is sent with admissions acceptance letters. First-time freshmen must attend orientation and COMPASS assessment is scheduled for those attendees who must take the assessment immediately following the orientation session. Students may visit http://www.jefferson.kctcs.edu/Admissions/Orientation to sign up for an orientation session—dates vary.
Student ID number (EMPLID-ID) and a photo ID are required to take the COMPASS assessment.

Other than orientation associated COMPASS sessions, all COMPASS assessment is done by appointment. Please call 502-213-5220 to make an appointment.
COMPASS assessment sessions are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursdays. During the Fall and Spring Semesters, the sessions are at 4:30 PM. During Intersession and Summer School, the sessions are at 2:30 PM.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to testing. Students must bring their ID number.
