What happens after you apply?

Once your application is received by the Registrar’s Office, staff will review all documentation. You will be notified by mail if there are any issues or concerns with the status of your graduation. After grades are posted at the end of the semester, graduation applications are finalized (checking for final grades, GPA and requirements) and the list of graduates is produced. Students will receive their credential within 10-12 weeks from the end of the semester.

Credentials are printed by an external vendor, but mailed to the graduate by the college. Since you will receive this important information by mail, it is imperative that you update your address. You must email this change from your KCTCS email account to JF-Records-Office@kctcs.edu indicating that you need to update your address for graduation and provide the new mailing address for your credential.
