Arts Administration Certificate

For students interested in careers in the arts and arts management, Jefferson Community and Technical College offers a certificate program that offers basic training in the arts (studio art, art history, music, music technology and theatre). Students can transfer these hours to arts administration programs at Bellarmine University and the University of Kentucky for completion of a 4-year degree, if desired.

Students will take a basic core curriculum of 21 hours in arts administration, communications, writing and business courses with an additional 6 to 9 hours in an arts area of choice (studio art, art history, music, music technology or theatre).
