Admissions FAQs

When will I have access to my KCTCS email account?

A student gets email access 24-48 hours (2 business days; weekends and holidays are excluded) after enrolling in a regular college credit class. 

Before that they have access to student self-service (aka Peoplesoft or PS).

Where can I get an application for admission?

Applying for admission to Jefferson Community and Technical College is quick and simple. 

Additionally, we have a variety of ways for you to complete an application.

In Person

    • You can come to any JCTC Campus and visit the Admissions Office. 
    • We'll get you all the information you need to complete your application for admission.   

Bring a photo ID.

    • Bullitt County Campus - 505 Buffalo Run Road - Suite 101, Shepherdsville
    • Carrollton Campus - 324 Main Street
    • Downtown Campus - Jefferson Educational Center (JEC) - 200 West Broadway (Second and Broadway across from the McDonalds) - second floor
    • Jefferson Technical Campus - Building B, 727 West Chestnut Street
    • Shelby County Campus - 1361 Frankfort Road
    • Southwest Campus - Administrative Building - 1000 Community College Drive
