Students transferring to JCTC

A transfer student is any student with previous college credit, other than college credit earned while still in high school and other than credit earned at Jefferson Community and Technical College.

Submit Transcripts

  • All transferring students must contact their former college or university to have an OFFICIAL transcript mailed to and received by Jefferson no later than 30 days after the beginning of the semester.
  • When requesting a transcript please complete and include this transcript request form with your request to your previous institution(s).  This will help ensure identification of your transcript in our Admissions Office.
  • Transfer students should plan to have copies of all college transcripts (unofficial transcripts) or grades for advising and registration.

Pay Tuition by Deadline

  • You must pay tuition by the deadline, which is a few days before classes begin each semester.
  • Dates are available on the Web site or at the Student Information Center. 
  • You must pay in full or make arrangements to pay by the deadline.
  • Failure to pay by the deadline can result in being dropped from class
