Metroversity

Metroversity is a partnership between eight area colleges and universities. Jefferson students can take classes at any of the other schools within the partnership.

What other institutions are within Metroversity?

Bellarmine University, Indiana University Southeast, Ivy Tech Community College,Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Spalding University, and the University of Louisville.

Can I register for classes with Metroversity?

Students may register for courses with Metroversity Institutions provided they meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a full time student in good standing.
  • Completed a minimum of 12 credits at JCTC
  • Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours at JCTC
  • Obtain signature of an Academic Advisor.
  • Obtain signatures of the Registrar from Home and Host institutions.

First Day of Metroversity Registration for Fall 2016 is July 18.  Students should bring 3 copies of the Metroversity enrollment form.

ULtra students should contact ULtra at 213-4538 for priority registration dates.

Incoming Metroversity students will need to apply for admission to JCTC and have the student number provided at application on their Metroversity registration forms.  Students will also need to be prepared to document pre-requisites with an unofficial transcript.

Anything else I need to know?

Notuition refunds will be approved for Metroversity cross-registration.

Registration is for Fall and Spring semesters only. You can not take classes through Metroversity during the summer semesters.
