October 29, 2012:

  • Stress and Time Management
    • 10:30-11:30am
      • "Are you feeling overwhelmed?” OR “Where did the time go?!”
      • Learn ways to combat the stressors in your life by becoming a more efficient and effective Time Manager.
      • You will be surprised how much stress you can relieve by being organized and aware of where the time goes.
  • Reading to Learn
    • 12:00-1:00pm
      • “Do you read and forget what you read?”
      • Learn strategies for ensuring that what you read not only is easily retrieved later, but also makes learning related information easier.

November 1, 2012:

  • Overcoming Test Anxiety
    • 12:00-1:00pm
      • “When test is a four-letter word!”
      • Discover some test taking strategies that will help to calm your nerves and focus on the exam.
      • In this workshop we’ll look at the different types of exams (i.e. multiple choice, fill-in, true/false, and essay) and some helpful ways to relieve test anxiety.
