thePoint is the first of two parts of the new Web redesign and it’s just for faculty and staff

Great progress has been made on the Web redesign and soon JCTC will have 2 great Web tools.

The first is just for faculty and staff. It’s an interactive intranet site called thePoint. 

thePoint will hold online forms, be the site for internal communications and have tools for team collaboration and discussion.

thePoint will be the place to go when to completing a travel voucher or other form and an important step toward reducing the amount of paper moving through the college.  It will be the place to review and discuss documents, projects or topics – work collaboratively from your desk or laptop!  It will be the place to post minutes or organization and committee information.   And it will be the place for news and announcements about college functions and activities.

thePoint will quickly become the go-to place for every faculty and staff members.
